BIO
Guanqing Lin is an award winning Film Editor based in Los Angeles. She was the winner of the 72nd ACE Eddie Awards under the Anne V. Coates Student Editing category. She is currently studying for an MFA in Film Editing at American Film Institute, and she is an honors graduate of UC Davis with BAs in Cinema & Digital Media, Communication, and Theatre & Dance triple major.
She began her filmmaking journey as an assistant editor for narrative shorts and documentary features. So far, she’s edited two features and 25+ narrative shorts. She is passionate about telling stories and evoking audiences' emotional engagement through editing.

Guanqing Lin was the winner of Anne V. Coates Student Eddie Award.
This year, more than ninety students cut the same scene from a NBC TV series, Chicago Med. Only three students are nominated for Eddie Award. The winner will receive a special Student Award and publicity in Hollywood trade.
